Anyway, I am back in the grind in Tokyo and cannot WAIT to share a ton of my photos from my recent trip to Dubai. Such a lovely, riveting and new city. Through the hundreds of photos I shot I was able to pull out my favorites of food, sites, a bit of culture and of course Fashion.
We attended the Al Qasr Champagne Brunch the first day we arrived in Dubai. A Friday Brunch in Dubai is on the top ten list of things to do. Friday is the first day of the Arabic weekend and a perfect reason to indulge in endless amounts of multi cultural cuisines. Each country and region had their own "Buffet". A few of my favorites Grilled Seafood, Thai, Arabic, Mexican, French, and of course the dessert corner. Along with the four restaurant sized rooms full of different food, was an endless amount of tasty cocktails and champies. You definitely can not go to this brunch on a cleanse, diet or with an eaters remorse attitude..
The Madinat Jumeriah hotel is beautiful and a perfect place for the brunch. You get perfect views of the Burj Al Arab and direct access to their lovely boat tour through their hotel and personal residences. After the brunch we strolled through the canals. I was in awe of the scenery and of course took some snaps of the native fashions.
Look forward to sharing some more pics from the Souks, Desert and personal style tips I picked up while in the Middle East.
On a magic canal ride....
