I stepped out to Midtown to see new designer, Shiho Shiroma, present her 2012 Spring/Summer collection. Before the show, she had all of our hearts racing as they blasted loud techno mash ups with heavy drums that vibrated under my stiletto heel. (Seats next to the speaker would've been a killer).
The show started with dresses and separates in muted tones and graphic prints. Followed by outwear and skirts in an amazing blue distressed leather. The thoughtfully designed leather Jackets were definitely a favorite of mine. Unfortunately, I didn't get an amazing shot of the jacket. Please check it out HERE. Shiroma's stand out pieces were her beautifully draped tops and unique cuts that highlighted her concentration to detail.
On another note, I wasn't pumped about the knotted, warrioresque hair. A simple and flowing do would've complimented the collections similar aesthetic.. I thought.
