Tomodatchi STYLE Subarashii desu ne!

Watashi wa nihongo ga jouzu desu ne! Ok not really, but I try so even if it is all mixed together, I try..

AANNYWAY, Knowing I would be meeting up with a few of my style buddies for lunch, I couldn't help but bring the Canon along for some snap worthy fashion. Of course, as always, they came through looking a million bucks and were happy to let the eager little rabbit (me), take some flicks. "O Shashin Onegaishimasu!"

This beauty is my dear friend Junko. She is by nature a style queen as well as a professional Ferragamo fashionista. I admire her refined style and can always count on her consistancy, elegance and for her to at least have ONE piece of Salvatore Ferragamo on! If not multiples.... I will be first in line for her garage sale.

Fur Shawl: Salvatore Ferragamo

Watch: Salvatore Ferragamo
Shoes: Salvatore Ferragamo

Bella Bella Bella! This is my lovely Italian Chic tomodatchi, Ellie. She masters the divine-sexy look, and is always well styled with great accessories or a pop of color. "Hello! Blood orange Chanel Jacket, can I PLEASE have you?" She was so sweet to let me take pics of her on the streets of Ginza. As a model she is used to it though :) Arigato ELLIE!

Jacket: Chanel

Obsessed with these boots

Thanks again ladies for allowing me to turn our luncheon into a impromptu photo shoot and for being so damn fabulous. Keep it up because it is your birth right to be glamorous. Utsukushii desu!

A WALK IN AKASAKA- Sprinkling the sidewalks with glitter

Tuesday, February 22, 2011
Welcome to AKASAKA

PACHINKO

the path towards HIE JINGA SHRINE

JACKET: IISLI  SHEER TOP: HELMUT LANG  LACE BRA : VICTORIA SECRET

BELT: URBAN OUTFITTERS

SKIRT: LUVLICIOUS JAPAN

SHOES: Shibuya 109

I decided to throw on my sequins and take a few shots in my backyard. I truly adore Akasaka. It has an eclectic style that attracts all types of people. Walking through the streets you will pass high rise buildings, small alley-type streets filled with assorted restaurants, pachinko, adorable boutiques and even a shrine. It's diverse atmosphere enables my mind to be creatively stimulated everyday I as I walk home. I couldn't help but share.

A night is Aoyama

Tuesday, February 15, 2011
I headed out to Velour Nightclub in Aoyama for a local stylists tanjoubi. In tow with one of my favorite gal pals and some fashion buddies; I was excited for a night of music, and of course some photo worthy fashion. After scoping out the scene, I became a little more obsessed with the interior decor than the fashion. I am not one to find taxidermy inspirational, but the bull quickly became my muse.

Crystallized globes were strategically placed all over the venue. I heart globes, and decided later that night that I want one for my apartment. I have yet to find one, but the hunt is ON. After internet surfing I found an amazing site for fun globes, although crystal-less, they will add some swagger to your apt or house.  http://www.artonglobes.com/globes.html
 A Little Fashion Shall We....

 How To:  OWN IT

This was not the best fashion I saw all night, but his energy and confidence caught my attention.  I little worried about his eye though.... ouch dude. Regardless, he owned his "unorthodox" outfit and was having a blast taking pictures for all of us "photogs". Confidence goes a long way.  If you love it who cares what anyone else thinks!

I loved the black framed glasses, which are beyond a trend in Tokyo. More like a requirement if you frequent Harajuku and Shibuya. He threw together the sequin sweater vest, with the hyper color scarf for the chilly Tokyo weather and matched it with his Marc by Marc Jacobs tote. He is ahead of  spring fashion with the hyper color trend.. SUGOI DESU NE!!

WHO KNEW : EATALY in Tokyo: Fashion and Carbs onegaishimasu

Tuesday, February 1, 2011

If you know me at all, you know my obvious obsessions. Fashion and of course cheese pizza. While living in Tokyo I have fallen in love with ramen, yaki tori and shabu-shabu, but nothing does it for me like a well made cheese pizza.

So the other day I decided to make a day out of my two favorite things. I threw on my go-to shades, Louis knapsack,  wool coat and Elle Tahari boots and headed to Daikanyama. Conveniently located next to LOVELESS, a favorite store of mine, is EATALY, my cheese pizza pusher.
Eataly is filled with delicious cheeses, beautiful cured meats, fresh breads, pastas, and an amazing wine selection.

This is my first time wearing my new Jean Paul Gaultier turtle neck. I love it. The color palette was not premeditated. I didn't want to blend in with the salami. I paired it with basic black Zara leggings, black hat and of course hoop earrings.

After I was finished stocking up on amazing Parmasean, Barolos, EVOO, and of course roasted garlic bread. I took a seat in the adorable cafe to treat myself to what I came there for...

Look of complete satisfaction...kinda.. That and I was eyeing down my date for the last piece....

I can't wait for a birthday or house warming to come up, a little something from Eataly would be a perfect gift. Now, time for the GYM.. Spring season is coming and I can't wait to pull the dresses out!
