As I've mentioned before, my current mania is over Pink. I received a couple emails from people with the same Pink obsession, and they asked how I would style the color. So here ya go folks...

I feel the collaborations with this color are endless. A really cool Color Block Look would be Hot, or tame it down with denim or white cotton. I feel that this PINK is very powerful, so I paired it with a basic tank, nude leather jacket and pumps, and threw in a dark purple belt to bring in the waist :).

I attended an event for the Italian brand Tod's, at the flagship store in Omotesando. Tod's is the epitome of luxury meets practicality, emphasizing on minimalism and casual styles. For the event, we sat down with three lovely icons of elegance for a "True Beauty Never Fades" segment. The women took turns describing their interpretation of beauty, style, and how Tod's relaxed luxuries work hand in hand with their lifestyle. We also were able to get a peek at some of the new top selling shoes and handbags!

I was so thrilled when my dear friend ask me to join her at a Ladurée Paris PR event. "Wait, you want me to come sample all of the new pastries and macaroons for Autumn and Winter 2011?" DONE!

The adorable shop is located in the Nihombashi Mitzukoshi, it is one of the two Ladurée here in Tokyo. The US is getting their very first Ladurée, opening up in New York this year!

Surviving Humidity

The humidity in Tokyo is at an exponential growth from now until the end of the Summer. Even though we still have another month or so until the humidity + heat reach it's max potential, it can still get to the point of discomfort. It takes "strategic outfit planning" in the morning to make sure you aren't suffering later on in the day. I stick to well-ventilated fabrics that facilitate a natural flow of air that keep you some-what cool and preventing the oh- so lovely sweat stains. We all know those are never a good look. SMH.
