Tokyo Fashion Night Out was a fun reason to throw on a red lip, heels and try on some drool worthy hand bags. With the little one on the way my wardrobe is dwindling, but I am having a blast with "The Bump", and dressing up my new accessory is becoming more fun than shoe shopping :).
Channeling my inner Flinestone, I threw on my Pebbles inspired dress and cruised through Omotesando, popping in and out of boutique hosted parties, passing the champagne to the left but welcoming the hors d'oeuvres with open arms.
I played dress up in the Caviar classics in Chanel as party go-ers waited in line for fresh manis, Dior's window displays were an immediate photo-op (as always), and I was loving the mulberry hues in Burberry. My night ended with a cherry on top, a few squeals and maybe a few tears (of joy), as I found my way to the back of Gucci and the pink paradise of baby gear. From ballet slippers, tiny totes, to terry cloth track suits, Baby Girl Gucci had me ear to ear. Whatever I had swooned over in Chanel, Dior and the likes, could not compare to these precious pieces of baby girl heaven. I don't have the intention on dressing my infant in head to toe Gucci, or Gucci at all for that matter, but the epiphany of having my baby girl resonated as I stroked each ruffle, bow and rhinestone :).
