Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Tokyo ended a couple weeks ago, but I wanted to share the collection reports I wrote for online magazine Savvy Tokyo and some photos I INSTAGRAM'D along the way. Check out the articles for a re-cap on seven days of runway shows, inspiration and an insight into all of fall fashion's trending details such as intricate patchwork pieces, treated textiles, structured dresses, modern day kimonos and an abundance of plaid, tweed and earth tones.

Please check out his collection report on SAVVY TOKYO, it was one of my favorite shows. Here is a short snippet: "Set into motion by a live percussion performance, the “Power of Flower” theme to Saito’s fall collection was apparent with colorful floral motifs draped to perfection on models sporting two-toned hair. Contemporary adornments such as chain belts, sparkly obis, fur shawls and technicolor patterns were used tastefully, updating the kimono while still maintaining a traditional Japanese aesthetic." |

My Grandma was so dope to me. Her style lives on. This was her chain belt that I recreated into a double gold chain necklace. The Chanel pendant was from a pair of my earrings. I lost the other one, so I made this into a necklace and wear in with an "M", for my daughter. |
