The humidity in Tokyo at the moment is unbelievable. I was here last year, but do not remember anything this extreme. By the time I walk from the train station to my APT, it looks as though I slid down a slip'n'slide. My clothes are sticking to my body and my hair turns into a lion mane.
The hair I am working on, but walking around Tokyo with sweat stains is not my style. However, there is always tricks of the trade that can allow you to look fresh and put together and not like you just left a sauna. One of my strategies is pairing a peek-a-boo frock with a lightweight bandeau top. The bandeau gives you enough support and coverage to style under a burn out cotton tee, sheer fabric top, or lace without looking vulgar. Worn by itself IS vulgar, so make sure to put a shirt on over it :).
